Not having a curfew is one of the biggest perks of living on your own. You don’t have to be back by ten o’clock or risk getting in trouble with your parents. Unfortunately, going to college typically means that you still have to live with a curfew until you graduate and get your own apartment. Dorm rooms often have a curfew that’s strictly enforced by the RAs–and if you don’t get back in time, you risk getting locked out of your own room.

But what about pet friendly apartments in West Lafayette? Do you have to put up with a curfew even if you’re living in student housing?

Does Student Housing Have a Curfew?

In fact, student apartments do not have a curfew. There are no monitors insisting that you make it back by a certain time and threatening to lock you out of your room if you don’t. You can come and go whenever you want, even if it’s at three in the morning.

This doesn’t mean that they don’t have 24-hour staff supervision–if you need help, there’s always someone available for you. But they’re not going to dictate how you live your life or try to control your college experience. When you live in a student apartment, you’re free to make your own decisions about how you want to live your life.
