  • Are you unable to stop seeing someone that is destructive to you?
  • Are you unsuccessful at staying single for a specific amount of time?
  • Do you believe that another person can fix you?

  • Does being away from your romantic partner or being single make you feel uneasy or desperate?

There are love addiction treatment centers available that can help determine if you do have an addiction to love, and they can provide the treatment plan you need to get better. Although it may seem like love addiction isn’t a true addiction, it is a distinct addiction and a treatable problem. Of course answering the questions above will not completely determine if you are addicted to love, it does give you a good idea of what it entails. Treatment plans can include group, family, or individual counseling, outpatient programs, and support groups. You will be asked to abstain from any type of sexual or romantic relationship during treatment so underlying problems can be addressed and treated.
